Awards Day Ceremony

It’s a special day when we recognize and celebrate students who have earned the College’s awards through their outstanding academic performance and meeting specific criteria.

On Saturday morning, St. Peter’s College hosted its annual Awards Celebration and Luncheon, where students, faculty, family, and friends came together. This year, both new and returning students received support from the scholarship, awards, and bursary program, amounting to over $100,000. These awards acknowledged not just academic excellence but also outstanding achievements in various areas, including a strong dedication to community service.

Dr. Jim Dosman, on behalf of the Board of Governors, introduced Donna Harpauer, MLA for Humboldt-Watrous, Finance Minister, and Deputy Premier, as a special guest. Donna Harpauer conveyed greetings from Minister of Advance Education Gord Wyant and highlighted the significant role of St. Peter’s College as a starting point for numerous young professionals who have made substantial contributions to the province and the country through their skills and drive.

The College’s teachers and staff celebrated with the students, who are mostly starting their college journey. These students come from nearby areas and different parts of the prairie provinces. The College’s unique rural location, small classes, and personal attention, along with its connection to the University of Saskatchewan, make it an attractive choice for students pursuing various programs.
