Head Start Workshops

English – English may have seemed easy and effortless, but going into a University level English unprepared is never good. This Head Start English program will help you erase bad habits in grammar, sentence construction and citations. Learn the critical reading and writing skills for university success in this intensive review and rebuild Head Start English program.  

Biology – No matter the field of profession you choose; biology will always be important. The Biology Head Start program is set up to help you recapture the terms and concepts that will act as stepping stones into your University Level Biology classes. Get a good “head start” on key ideas by taking this Biology Head Start review class. This program will run August 26 from 9:00am – 4:00pm with a one-hour lunch break.

Mathematics – This one-day workshop will run August 27 from 9:00am – 4:00pm with a one-hour lunch break. If your program requires mathematics at the pre-calculus or calculus level, we invite you to participate in this one of a kind prep experience. Not only will you review key formulas and content, you’ll see the practical applications of high school level math come to life.

Physics – Get a head start into the world of physics with our one-day Physics Head Start course! Review core concepts from high school, lab etiquette, key terms and formulas before you start into orientation and first day of classes.
