The Brian Ehmann Scholarship
Brian Arthur Ehmann was born at Holdfast, Saskatchewan, and completed his high school education at St. Peter’s College. He began his career in banking at the Scotia Bank, and over the next 37 years was employed within the bank in various positions and locations within Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
It was his wish to create five (5), annual one thousand ($1,000) scholarships for students at St. Peter’s College. This is an award that provides financial support to students who are pursuing further post-secondary education in the area of business.
Award criteria are:
- The student must be attending St. Peter's College for the first time, on a full-time or part-time basis.
- The student must demonstrate financial need as determined by the committee of St. Peter's College
- A letter submitted by the applicant in the application process must express how this award will enable their success in post-secondary.
The College is thankful for the donation provided by Brian Ehmann and is excited to continue to offer financial support to students starting their education. Students at St. Peter's College are eligible for over $90,000 in awards on top of any awards they receive from the University of Saskatchewan. Scholarship applications at St. Peter's College open on May 1st.
