On March 21, 2025, St. Peter’s College students, staff and Abbey members gathered together to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Benedict.

For the Benedictine community, this day offers a time to reflect on St. Benedict’s teachings of prayer, work and humility, honoring the lasting impact of his monastic vision.

Students joined the Benedictine community of St. Peter’s for their lunch prayer and were warmly invited to share in a feast in the Monks’ dining room.

As the group gathered, Fr. Lawrence shared the history of the feast and offered a blessing for the meal.

The dining room echoed with laughter, warmth and engaging conversation.

Students were so delighted to have the opportunity to dine with the Monks’ and partake in such a meaningful event within the Benedictine community.
