Signing Event: St. Peter’s College and USask College of Nursing Partnership for Local Nursing Education

Exciting news for aspiring nurses in the Humboldt area! Local students now have the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) degree without leaving their hometown.

On Wednesday, St. Peter’s College and USask College of Nursing officially celebrated the first intake of BSN students in Muenster with a signing of a partnership agreement. This collaboration represents an important milestone, providing students with the chance to complete their undergraduate nursing education close to home.

This new partnership aligns with the USask College of Nursing’s “learn where you live” philosophy, making nursing education more accessible to local students.

Dr. Solina Richter, USask College of Nursing Dean and Rob Harasymchuk, St.Peter’s College President & Vice-Chancellor formalized their partnership by signing the memorandum of agreement.

Dr. Solina Richter expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that it is a prime example of the College’s commitment to providing students with the opportunity to learn and grow in their own communities.

This exciting development opens up new possibilities for aspiring nurses in Humboldt area and surrounding areas, allowing them to stay close to family and friends while pursuing their professional goals.
