Retirement Celebration Honoring Elaine Hulse

St. Peter’s College recently had the pleasure to celebrate the retirement of Professor Elaine Hulse from the Departments of Sociology and Indigenous Studies. The event was a warm and joyful gathering, filled with appreciation, laughter, and heartfelt moments.

Elaine Hulse has been an integral part of the St. Peter’s College from 1998 to 2026. Over the years, she has made significant contributions not only in the classroom but also through her broader involvement with the institution. She also served as a valued member of the Board of Governors, reflecting her commitment to the growth and direction of the college.

Staff, faculty, and students joined in to recognize her incredible contributions over the years. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the impact she has made in the classroom and beyond, shaping the learning journey of so many students.

A special highlight of the celebration was the cake-cutting, marking this meaningful milestone in her career. Elaine Hulse was also presented with thoughtful gifts from the college and from students, a small token of the gratitude and respect she has earned throughout her time here.

The atmosphere was filled with smiles and shared memories, as everyone took a moment to admire her dedication and wish her all the very best in this new chapter of life.
