Connecting Students with Their Future

St. Peter’s College proudly hosted the Opportunities Edge Career Expo on Wednesday, October 1, a vibrant event designed to connect students with a wide range of educational and career pathways throughout Saskatchewan and beyond.

Organized annually by the St. Peter’s Student Services team, the expo drew over 300 students from across the region. Featuring representatives from post-secondary institutions, trade organizations, local businesses, and apprenticeship programs, the event served as a comprehensive resource for young people exploring their post-high school options.

Students attend Opportunities Edge to discover opportunities in their communities and surrounding areas, expanding their choices for both career and education pathways.

This year’s expo featured a diverse lineup of exhibitors, including the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, Carlton Trail College, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic, alongside industry representatives including Doepker Industries and the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trades Certification Commission. Beyond the exhibitor booths, students engaged in a variety of interactive presentations throughout the morning, offering hands-on insights and valuable information to support their future planning.

The expo was open to the public from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m, allowing anyone interested in exploring career options to visit the College and learn about the diverse opportunities available.
