We were delighted to welcome instructor and artist Grant McConnell to St. Peter’s Abbey, where he spent over ten days living, teaching, and working on his paintings. Having an artist in residence brought a unique and inspiring presence to the abbey.

Grant’s current collection explores the theme of “Finer Things,” focusing on elegance and detail. Pictures of his artwork showcase a range of subjects, including a painting of the Cartier Diamond Jewellers storefront in Paris and another featuring a finely crafted bottle of champagne. These images highlight his careful attention to texture, light, and atmosphere.
