St. Peter’s College Annual Awards Celebration 2025

On Saturday, September 20, the St. Peter’s College gymnasium was filled with pride, applause, and celebration as students, faculty, families, and friends gathered for the Annual Awards Celebration and Luncheon. The event recognized the hard work and achievements of students while also highlighting the strong tradition of education that has shaped St. Peter’s College for more than 120 years.

Celebrating Achievement and Tradition

This year, St. Peter’s College awarded approximately $150,000 in scholarships and awards, continuing its longstanding commitment to supporting students in their academic and personal growth. The tradition of recognizing excellence has long been a cornerstone of the College, honoring students who have completed high school, university transfer, and St. Peter’s unique programs.

A Historic First for Nursing Students

The 2025 celebration marked an exciting milestone with the introduction of an entirely new set of awards dedicated to students in the four-year nursing program. Thanks to a remarkable $1 million endowment from the of St. Elizabeth, 20 nursing students received scholarships totaling $50,000 at the ceremony. These awards are designed to support students pursuing studies at the rural campus, with the hope that many will go on to serve in Saskatchewan’s rural and northern health centres.

Looking Toward the Future

Beyond the financial support, the Awards Ceremony was a reflection of the values that define St. Peter’s College: academic excellence, service to others, and a strong sense of community. It was a moment to celebrate not only today’s student achievements but also the bright futures that lie ahead.
