The arrival of Fall 2026 marks the beginning of another exciting academic year at St. Peter’s College. This week, our campus came alive as new students arrived, settled into residence, met fellow classmates, and began creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Orientation Day: Starting the Journey Together

Orientation Day served as the official welcome to life at St. Peter’s College and the beginning of an exciting academic journey for our newest students. Designed to help students feel informed, supported, and prepared, the day provided valuable insight into all aspects of college life.

Throughout the orientation sessions, students were introduced to the many resources available to support their success, including academic services, campus facilities, student supports, and extracurricular opportunities. Faculty, staff, and student leaders shared information and advice to help students make a smooth transition into college life.

One of the highlights of the day was the guided campus tour. Led by student team leaders, groups explored classrooms, the library, laboratories, student lounges, and other key locations across campus. The tour helped students become familiar with their new learning environment while providing opportunities to connect with peers and ask questions.

An Evening Around the Bonfire

Next day before the sun set, students gathered for a memorable evening bonfire. The event provided a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where students could connect with one another outside the classroom setting.

Surrounded by good food, conversation, and the warmth of the fire, students had the opportunity to build new friendships and strengthen their sense of community. The evening highlighted the welcoming spirit that makes St. Peter’s College feel like home for so many students.

Sweet Treats at the Sundae Ice Cream Bar

The week continued with a special treat organized by Student Services: the much-anticipated Sundae Ice Cream Bar. Students enjoyed creating their own ice cream sundaes with a variety of toppings while spending time with friends and classmates.

The event was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of sweet treats, offering another chance for students to unwind, connect, and enjoy the vibrant campus community.

Looking Ahead

The first week of Fall 2026 has been filled with excitement, connection, and new experiences. From Orientation Day and campus tours to the bonfire gathering and ice cream social, students have already begun building friendships and creating memories that will shape their college experience.
