Residence and Meal Plans

St. Peter's College students have a wide variety of housing opportunities to choose from.  Most of the possibilities cost less than accommodations in a larger centre.

If you wish to live on our beautiful campus, you may live in Severin Hall, a student residence connected to Michael Hall. If you wish to live off-campus, the Village of Muenster and the City of Humboldt, 11 kms away from the campus, have a variety of apartments, houses and suites available for rent. There are also accommodations available in some of the smaller communities in the surrounding area. Students who are from the area may choose to live at home and drive in for classes. No matter where you live meal plans are available for you at St. Peter's College.

Students attending St. Peter's College are able to live on campus.  Severin Hall is situated in the heart of the campus, just steps away from the main College building.  You will have the luxury of walking to classes quickly and easily and the added bonus of the excitement of on campus life.  Severin Hall is a co-ed residence; however, double rooms are shared with members of the same sex.  Rooms fill up quickly, so students are encouraged to apply early to get their choice of accommodations.

Severin Hall

Severin Hall is attached to the main campus building Michael Hall.  There is a selection of rooms available in Severin Hall: shared room with bathroom, private room with bathroom, and private room with sink and shared bathroom.  The common areas include a living room with satellite TV, recreation space, laundry facilities, and kitchenette.  There is no charge to use the laundry facilities; laundry detergent is also provided free of charge.  The kitchenette features microwave ovens, fridge, and freezer.  Residents of Severin Hall are required to purchase a meal plan from the dining room.

Room Reservation Deposit Fee $500.00 Payable upon application. Reservation Deposit Fee will be deducted from your 1st term residence payment. Refundable upon cancellation as per reservation deposit refund schedule
Damage/Cleaning Deposit Fee Equal to ¼ of term price. Payable prior to move in.
Key Deposit $25.00 Payable prior to move in.
Parking Fee $100.00/academic year Payable to the College.

Move In Dates: 

  • 1st Term: August 31st and September 4th, 2018
  • 2nd Term: January 2nd, 2019

Delicious, home-cooked meals are available in the College Dining Hall.

Meals are served three times daily.

  • Breakfast         (8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.)
  • Lunch            (11:55 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.)
  • Supper            (5:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.)

Students, staff, and faculty can choose from a variety of meal plans available. Students living in Severin Hall are required to purchase a meal plan. For all other students, the meal plan is optional. Lunch and supper both have soup, salad, a hot meal, and fruit or dessert.

Meal Plan Dates:

1st Term: Begins at supper of September 4th, 2017 and ends at Supper, December 23rd, 2017
2nd Term: Begin at supper of January 2nd, 2018 and ends at Supper, April 30th, 2018

*The full meal plan works out to cost approximately $21.00/day.  When meal plans are set, a number of missed meals are factored into the price of the plan.  If these missed meals were not factored into the plan, the rates would be much higher.
