Trevor Herriot's Bio:
Trevor Herriot is an award-winning author, a grassland advocate, and a naturalist and illustrator. He posts regularly on Grass Notes (trevorherriot.blogspot.ca.), his web page on grassland culture and environmental issues. He is featured regularly on CBC Radio and is a frequent guest on the call-in show Blue Sky. He and his wife, Karen, live in Regina, have four adult children, and spend much of their time on a piece of Aspen Parkland prairie east of the city.
Jan Zwicky's Bio:
Jan Zwicky is the author of nearly twenty books of poetry and prose, including Songs for Relinquishing the Earth, Forge, and Wisdom & Metaphor. Her most recent poetry collection, The Long Walk, which bears witness to environmental and cultural cataclysm, has been described as “moving, capacious, and profound”. Zwicky’s many honours include the Governor General’s Award and the Dorothy Livesay Prize.
